Effective January 10, 2022 the Winter LIHEAP Crisis Program will begin and run through March 31, 2022 or until funds are expended. We can provide service for electric, gas and propane. This is a crisis program so bill must be at least one day late for payment or subject to disconnect or you may also be on a payment plan. If pre-paid account, we would need letter showing that account has 10 days or less left for services. For propane/kerosene, household would need to be within 4 days of running out of fuel or your tank is registering at 20% or lower.
All of our Family Service Centers (Bullitt, Shelby and Spencer) are now providing in person services, however it is required that you make an appointment. We do not want to overcrowd our lobbies. At the date and time of your appointment, please call the office number that will be posted on the door and the appropriate staff person will let you enter and complete the application process. We are asking everyone to wear a mask inside our building and only the person applying for benefits may enter the building.
